'Ghosts' scenography

We were assigned to make a scenography model to Henrik Ibsen's play "Gjengangere"( "Ghosts" in English) at school, and this is the result. Henrik Ibsen were very specific in his description of the stage in his plays, which elements to include, were to place them, etc. So to gain a bit of freedom, I, in return, chose to take a little different approach, inspired a bit by Tim Burton, I think, making a room with exaggerated features, high, askew walls and doors, and sharp contrast, making the people seem small and perhaps lost.

It might not fit the serious, realistic style of Henrik Ibsen's play from 1881, but it was fun. All depending on the way a director would choose to interpret the play, it might work or not.

Made with artfoam board, cardboard, small wooden sticks, wire and glue, all painted with acrylics.
